Après un vernissage égaillé par la graisse de raclette et les paillettes, l’exposition retrospective continue à la Villa Perret de Neuchâtel jusqu’à fin août 2024. Cette exposition retrace 15 ans de projets composés d’affiches sérigraphiées, de catalogues, de flyers et autres, créés sur commande pour divers acteurs culturels du canton de Neuchâtel. De part cet angle culturel, cette retrospective est non seulement celle de SUPERO mais retrace aussi une partie de l’histoire de la région.

SOPHIE STIEGER, LA RENCONTRE Publication SUPERO loves photography @sophie_stieger — La Chaux-de-Fonds steht auf kargem Boden. Das Wetter im Hochjura auf 1000 Metern über Meer ist rau. Nur wenige Neubauten stören oder bereichern das Bild des Unesco-Weltkulturerbes mit seinem strengen Raster und der Hochhaussiedlungen aus den sechziger und siebziger Jahren. Die vielen Gebäude aus den Zeiten des Aufschwungs sind einzigartig. Dennoch stehen zahlreiche Wohnungen leer, jedes Jahr ziehen Bewohner*innen weg. Die Infrastruktur ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Steuern sind noch höher als im restlichen Kanton. Die Arbeiterstadt befindet sich in einem Tal fernab der grossen Verkehrsachsen. Doch ist man in La Chaux-de-Fonds angekommen, scheint der Himmel näher zu sein. Die Sonne lässt die vielen typischen Arbeiterstadthäuser noch etwas bunter erscheinen. In dieser «Stadt auf dem Land» funktioniert das Leben wie in einem Dorf. Hier begegnet man sich mit einer selbstverständlichen Freundlichkeit, die die Neuenburger Berge so liebenswert macht. Dies ist eine Hommage an die Chaux-de-fonnier.e.s, die hier für ihre grossartige Stadt sprechen.
